The ConVic 2008 pack has been updated.

After deliberation, the painting scoring has been modified. The main changes are making 50% of the Presentation score T/O judged, and changing the bonus for playing with your personally prepared army to +3 points.

As of the time of posting, there are currently 61 people signed up for ConVic - leaving only 9 more spots. Not bad 2 1/2 months out!

The ConVic 2008 pack has been released!

Changes from ConVic 2007 are:

- 2400 points for taking the no-lord choice option, with 2250 points for armies that make use of this slot

- no scenarios/mission cards - 6 pitched battles

- reworked the painting scoring system to provide a bonus to those who paint their own armies

- Best Army will be narrowed down to the top 10 on the Saturday by the T/O's. Voting will take place on the Sunday morning from these armies

Preperations are under-way for Convic 2008. At this stage, we are hoping to have an end of year BBQ/meeting/mini-tourney to get together and have a chat about the next goals for Convic. Hopefully DOW cannons will not be present :)

A Vagabond Campaign was recently run, with Dom taking all before him. All hail the Dwarven High King!

Many new armies (in various stages of completion!) were on show during the campaign, with a special mention to AG's new tournament army. Once complete, they will be a brilliant sight on the tabletop.

It is also with a heavy heart that it must be mentioned that the Greyhawks have finally won back the Club Challenge Trophy from the Vagabonds recently at MOAB. I am assured that a thorough investigation is underway.

A big congratulations must go to Phil for winning the tornament, and to both Gav and Dom as well for achieving high overall placings.

The rules for ConVic 07 are now up and posted.

It looks like it will be a full house for this year's ConVic attendance! The organisers have decided to extend the numbers to 70 entries. The new floor plan is supposed to accomodate the 70 entries.

$21 for ConVic t-shirts. The front will have this and the back will have the same ConVic 2005 logo (12 inches wide, 14 inches high). If interested contact Andrew or weisern

Major update on tourney pack rules. about 65% complete now.

Considering giving players 2 choices for ConVic for which they pick only one. (choice 1) 2250pts. or (choice 2) 2250pts + Xpts without the Lord choice. X would be 100pts and probably wont need tweaking.
